Yes, I got the Song of the Week updated.  This week's song is I Know I Know.  The song is less than a minute, but what's the point in writing long songs when you say everything you need in less time.  Funny, how the lyrics may seem simplistic but it took me the longer to write this one than other ones.  You can get it here at the sounds page.

Happy Holidays to everyone!  I *finally* updated the pictures page with some new pics I got taken of me about a month ago.  Yeah, they're not the best, but there really is a funny one of me that looks like I am going to cry, so check it out!

There is a new Song of the Week.  Hmm, maybe it should be a Song of the Every Two Weeks, but I guess that doesn't quite have a ring to it.  Anyway, The Healing process has been taken down, but the new song is Forget Me.  This song is one of my favorite songs and really was the first song written for this record.  Check it out here.

I posted the next Song of the Week at the sounds page.  I took down Spiralling but this week it is Forever from Recovery.  It was never my favorite song but it is unique because it tells a story.  The song was actually inspired by some good friends I have.  Check it out and for those in the US have a great Thanksgiving!

Does anyone know how to convert cassette tape tracks into the MP3 format?  I have some demos on cassette that I would love to post on this site for download.  Please e-mail me if you know how to do it.  Thanks!

I will be putting more pics on the site.  I have not formally posted them but you can see them for the time being here.  I have to learn how to condense pictures as they are large files.

I hope everyone is able to find this "secret" page as I am thinking about taking it down sometime soon.  A final hint is that the link to the secret page is on the biography page.

Also, I was able to see Owen play live on Thursday.  It was a great show.  Very quiet, relaxed atmosphere and only a handful of people.  The opening act was a man named Denison Witmer.  I bought his CD and am listening to it right now.  Great stuff...a lot of it sounds like Dawson's Creek music though.

Right now, at the sounds page, one song will be available for download that is not available at the Abreaction MP3.com Site.  I am doing this because I am not able to distribute any of my CDs.  The downloads will be songs off of Recovery or For All The Wrong Reasons.  Eventually I will have songs off of both of my demos available as seen on the discography page.

Hi I went to the Sigur Ros concert and it was great.  The only time I will ever see the bassist play with a drumstick, the singer literally sing into his guitar and play with a violin bow while singing lyrics from a language that does not exist.

On another note, I have been working on some new songs and here are the working titles of the songs that are almost done.

Today I finally linked up all the bands to their respective web sites at the influences page.  Hey yesterday I was talking about Sigur Ros and well I am going to the concert tonight at the Riviera in Chicago so that should be fun.  Oh and anyone who doesn't know about the band American Football, shame on you! But more importantly ex-frontman Mike Kinsella's project Owen has a new CD available at Polyvinylrecords.  They have a sample so download it.  Also check out songs from Sunday's Best and Braid while there.

Hey right now I am listening to Sigur Ros and it is amazing.  Check it out.  On another note, since Abreaction is still relatively unknown, I would love it if anyone out there could spread the word to your friends, family, school, etc I would greatly appreciate it.  I want to get some merchandise soon so that I could distribute it to anyone wanting to form a "street team."  Also, since has been brought to my attention that there are other bands with the name Abreaction out there, we have to show them who the real one is! Thanks!

The pictures section has been updated with some pictures.  These are from when I recorded For All The Wrong Reasons and a gig I had at the Sheraton in Chicago.  The pics I posted aren't the best but I will be posting some more very soon.

It has been a long time since I have updated this site so I apologize.  I just celebrated my 22nd birthday on October 17th so that was kind of fun.  But I have posted some new lyrics to some songs I wrote a few months ago. The two new songs are called "The Moments" and "Words and Lines".  I mostly forgot about the songs until I picked up my guitar and became inspired again.  You can find the new lyrics at the lyrics section.

I bought a new Martin electric/acoustic. I can now plug this guitar into my old amp and play with some of the crazy effects.
