Have a happy new year!!

::::::December 28, 2004:::::
I finally finished recording my new album currently entitled Beyond These Clouds. Thanks to everyone for your patience as I know this took a little longer than expected to get out. I still need to finish mixing, mastering, and pressing the album but it should be worth the wait. The final release will likely be distributed in March 2005.

This album will be a tad different than the other releases with more instruments visible (in some songs) and will be "conceptual" in the sense that a story will accompany the album with each song corresponding to a paragraph. I won't quite give away what the story is about yet though ;)

Anyway, for now, you can hear the almost complete "Fading Faster" at http://www.myspace.com/abreaction

PLEASE let me know what you think of it and e-mail me at abreaction@abreaction.net or catch me on my AIM at Abreaction1017.

Also, I plan to play a lot of gigs in support of this album so let me know if you know of any openings in or around Chicago...or if you would like me to join the stage with you if you are in a band and stopping in Chicago.

Thanks again for your continued support! :)

Sorry for the lack of updates but I am busy finishing up the songs for the next record.  I am now thinking of calling the third CD Above Passing Clouds.  Please let me know if you do graphic design and would like to create the cover for this album.

There will be about 15 tracks on this disc and I will be recording at The Gallery Of Carpet from approximately December 11 - December 20.

Thanks for your support, e-mails, IMs, and everything else.  Much love.....

I have now decided to ship anywhere in the world.  Please order here.

I have put some new reviews up and it looks like SongMeanings is back up.  Feel free to post or comment on lyrics there.

I have set up time in December to record the third CD.  I am in the process of finalizing the 17 or so tracks I nailed down for the record.  The idea, although it took almost 3 years, will finally come to surface as a CD to be played in stereos (or computers) around the world.

Hi, it's been quite some time since updating this site but rest assured that I am continuing to work hard in getting this next album out.  The reason this is taking long is because I am torn on what direction the next album should take.  Lyrically and musically, this next project will be different.  I bought a drum machine recently so that may change the sound of the next album and I've been listening to a lot of Post-Rock music like Mogwai and Do Make Say Think which may have its influences on the next record.

I'm currently in the talks with a local studio in Chicago to get this next record recorded.  I'm still aiming to get this done before 2004 ends.

Please click here to download a song I came up with and am growing to like.  It's called So Much To Offer.

I also joined MySpace so if you're a member, add me as a friend!

I also got AIM, so you can hit me up at Abreaction1017

As always, if you are in the Chicago area and want to jam, let me know.

Many updates since I last updated this site!

I've updated the demo page with about 20 new demos.  Please note that all the others that used to be there have been permanently removed to make room for these.

I've uploaded my music to Download.com and to PureVolume.

I've uploaded a documentary film on Abreaction done for a film class.  You can find it on the multimedia page.

The ice melts away to warmer times and sometimes it takes colder times to unveil the true beauty.  I have posted two new songs to Mailing List Bonus page.  Every month or so, I give away a link to a page of MP3s to those who signed up for the mailing list.

Please note that I will be getting rid of all the demos on the demo page on May 30th to give way to a page of brand new demos.

I will be posting some more pics on the site shortly.  For everyone asking for tabs, please be patient as all my time has been focused on creating this new album.  There a couple already posted on the discography page.

Lastly, let me know if you will be be in downtown Chicago and you'd like to jam.

The spring draws closer to a beginning.  There's been a lot of updates in the past month!

Rob Davey in Australia created some great flyers that are posted here.  For anyone who would like and spread the word, you can print these out and distribute freely.  Word of mouth is how Abreaction continues to thrive.

I've also recorded a new version of Breaking Up.  Right now it is only available, along with many other songs, on a page that I only distribute when I send out newsletters via the Mailing List.  If you haven't already joined, you can do so here.

Finally, with the demise of MP3.com, I've posted two MP3 songs at Pure Volume.

Wow, it's been along time since I last gave an update.  I'm still finalizing the third CD but I have a bad tendency to keep writing new songs before I finish the others.  I'm currently in the process of selecting from about 30 partial songs to decide which ones I will ultimately finish.  Some songs are finished but may be tweaked like Fading Faster and Wasted.

I posted a video of me playing Fading Faster.  This was done spontaneously one night and was done in one take as my friend and I thought it would be a cool idea to post it on this site.  It's fairly large (32.8 MB) and it is zipped.  You can find it on the Sounds page.
